Dear Fellow Libertarian,

As the sun sets on 2025, it is time to be honest about where our province stands.

The election back in February confirmed what many of us already knew: the establishment parties at Queen’s Park are comfortable with the status quo. They are comfortable with a healthcare system that limits your choices. They are comfortable with regulations that stifle our businesses. And they are comfortable spending your money without your consent.

But while they are comfortable, we are building.

Join us Saturday, November 15th for the Ontario Libertarian Party Convention in Mississauga, Ontario.

Registration

We are only accepting a limited number of in-person registrations for $50, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. If you are unable to attend in person, a virtual registration option is available for $20.

Here are several reasons why one might attend the Ontario Libertarian Party's convention on November 15 2025.

To influence party direction, elect officials, network with like-minded individuals, and learn about libertarian principles. For party members, the convention offers the chance to participate directly in the democratic processes that shape the party's future. 

To influence party policy and constitutional changes

Understanding Erosion of Liberty 

Erosion of liberty refers to the gradual weakening of individual rights and freedoms that are typically protected by law. This process often occurs under the justification of national security or public safety.

Key Aspects of Erosion
Civil Liberties: Fundamental rights such as freedom of speech, due process, and privacy are at risk. These liberties are essential for protecting individuals from government overreach.

I, as a libertarian, want more liberty, less government and our own freedom of choices. Why less government? Because Big Government is Bad for people. I came across many written books and articles that clearly explain why Big Government is Bad. I offer this one extract from an article I read some time ago and will include a link to said article for individual edutainment.

Libertarian Statement of Principles

We, the members of the Ontario Libertarian Party, support the following principles:

1. Every individual has the right to his or her own life.

2. Property rights are essential to individual rights.

3. No individual or group has a right to initiate force against any other.

The year 2024 is coming to its ending and we are about to start year 2025.

Wouldn't it be, a wonderful year ending, if 20 individuals donated $24 each to fuel our tank to start 2025?

Come on people, let's make this happen. Ask your partner, in addition to yourself, to contribute $24.

If 10 couples willingly and generously agreed to our 2024 year ending donation request, we would be grateful.

Our party needs fuel money to run our operations now and into our futures.
