Accountability In Government. What the heck does that even mean?

Who ever goes to jail for spending improperly, trampling our rights. It is those questions you should be asking. God forbid you should not pay your taxes, or erect a building ... because for sure they will show up and hold YOU to account.

This problem all boils down to property rights, and authority. These 2 powers, in which you have very limited command over, are what allows the State to have authority over your body, your land, your work and YOUR children.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: refers to the idea that, with Freedom, comes the Responsibility to do no harm to others, just as you expect them to do no harm to you.

What power do you have if you are unhappy with your representative (MPP)?  Your only option is to wait 4 yrs for another election!

We believe Recall Legislation needs to enacted to give the constituents the ability to hold a vote to replace your MPP at anytime.  The Ontario Libertarian Party believes in local regional governance, with less centralized planning. Politicians that work for you.

You see, we believe your voice carries more weight at the local level, and will decentralize Queens Parks power in favour of local representation.

The private sector is able to deliver many services with lower administration costs, because they are trying to save money, make money and still be competitive with other suppliers.
 
Government creates monopolies such as healthcare and education, or supply management to ensure YOU are not permitted to enter the market ... without permission.

The biggest hindrance to home ownership for the people is Regulations and Taxation. Both those regulatory bodies in Ontario can add up to $49,000 to the cost of a home in the Ottawa region.

Most new home builds add these costs to the cost of borrowing and mortgage those funds, including HST, causing further debt repayment in interest and amortization over a 20 yr payment life.

We at the Ontario Libertarian Party have advocated and platformed our Education plan for the last 15 yrs as Parents Choice.  What that means is that parents shall have the final say of who teaches their children.  To make that happen, we will attach that funding to the child.

Unions and Government will no longer have any power to promise to improve outcomes.

Opt In/Out is another option we present to revenue collected and spent.

Social Justice is a grouping of words meant to sound like a Law.  Justice is the application of Laws, whereas, Social is meant to apply to a collective or group, now called identity politics. Identity Politics is a political voting grouping tool, used to speak to a single group.  Group identity politics is used by politicians, so they don't have to speak to individuals anymore.

Chickens provided food, they created fertilizer, they kept the grass and soil healthy.  Then government stepped in, banned local animal husbandry, they also created the egg marketing boards in conjunction with industry. Same as beef, pork and dairy markets.

Local municipalities put in place regulations to limit private property owner's ability to produce their own food, further creating dependency on store chains.  Industry is NEEDED to mass produce food, there is no doubt about that.
